Sailing on Lake Michigan

Over Memorial Weekend Andy and I took a trip to Saugatuck here in Michigan. It's a gorgeous little town off the water full of shops, restaurants, and great places to discover.  We chartered a sail boat just off the canal and had a fun day on the water soaking up some rays. 

If you're looking for a water town to spend a few days, I highly suggest Saugatuck. We had a great time, and will definitely be back.  If you're looking for places to eat, we enjoyed The Mermaid Grill (fish & chips to die for), Singapore Yacht Club (amazing rum runners), and Wally's Bar for some cocktails. 

Farmers Market

A few weeks ago Andy and I went to visit our local farmers market.  It was a little early in the season, but we enjoyed checking out the various produce that our local growers had available.  I'm excited to check it out again in a few weeks as more produce becomes more readily available.
